During their growing season (usually summer) hoyas like the top 1-2 inches of their soil to dry out between waterings (usually about once a week.) They don't need as much water in their off season (usually winter) so you can cut back watering to every other week!
Hoyas love lots of light and prefer bright indirect (think 1-2 feet from a very sunny window) and can tolerate full sun (think hanging right against a sunny window.)
If they're kept very happy these plants can get beautiful blooms that smell amazing!
Hoyas are mildly poisonous to people and animals, so make sure to use caution if you live with small humans or furry friends.
