Pothos plants like to have their soil dry our completely between waterings, so if you're someone who forgets to water occasionally you'd get along great with this plant! These plants are pretty easygoing and will let you know if they aren't happy, developing yellow leaves if overwatered and droopy, wilted leaves when thirsty.
Pothos are pretty easygoing when it comes to light. They like bright indirect light (think 3-5 feet from a very sunny window) but will adjust to most lighting conditions and can tolerate lower light than many other plants. In lower light, or if too far from the light source, your plant will get "leggy," with longer vines and more space between the leaves. If this happens move your plant closer to the light or lean into it and drape the vines around your room!
These plants are very easygoing and a great choice for first time plant parents!
Pothos are poisonous to people and animals, so be sure to use caution if you live with small humans or furry friends.
